The city of Atlanta is down a Fire Chief.

Former Chief, Kelvin Cochran was fired after he refused to apologize for comments about homosexuals in his book, “Who Told You Were Naked?”

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed suspended Cochran after excerpts of the book became known. In the book he called homosexuals, “unclean”, “a sexual perversion”, “vulgar”, and “inappropriate”. Reed handed him a month-long suspension in November,

At a press conference Tuesday afternoon, Mayor Reed announced Cochran had been “relieved” of his position.
