An epic moment in hip-hop history took place this past weekend in Dallas Texas. Dallas native The D.O.C. performed using his real voice for the first time in 20-years.

D.O.C. made his name in the early nineties as an affiliate of the Los Angeles collective N.W.A. A protege of Dr. Dre, D.O.C. has a major hit with, “Funky Enough”. In the midst of his success, D.O.C. lost his voice after being in a car crash. Despite working behind the scenes as a producer, he has not used his actual voice in two decades.
